Origin: North America, southern and southeastern USA, on sandstones and on the edges of pine forests.
Constantly flowering and drought-resistant groundcover, forming dense yellow umbels of inflorescences.
Most of the leaves are in a rosette near the ground, smaller and narrower leaves are located on the stems. Flower heads are small, yellow, collected in narrowly elongated inflorescences. Each head has 2-6 flowers. The shape of the bush is upright and very stable.
Foliage: very narrow, lanceolate, evergreen.
Height of flowering plant: 30 cm.
Closely located inflorescences create an unusual impression of an even carpet. Easy to care for and undemanding to growing conditions.
Natural flowering period: August - October. Blooms in the second year after sowing.
Distance between plants: 20 cm.
